Direct streaming to children’s favorite devices
Oticon hearing aids offer connectivity options that can make a difference in children’s ability to learn, socialize, and enjoy life around them. Children can enjoy direct streaming from their favorite devices, such as smartphones. In fact, Oticon More™ and Oticon Play PX hearing aids offer two-way hands-free phone and video calls from select iPhones and iPads, and direct streaming from select Android™ devices*.
Children can connect to their world beyond their smartphone with other Oticon accessories, such as Oticon EduMic and Oticon ConnectClip.
*Android devices need to support ASHA to allow direct connectivity to Oticon More and Oticon Play PX. iPhone and iPad devices need to support two-way hands-free communication. Please visit oticon.com/support/compatibility for more information and to see which devices are compatible.
Oticon EduMic
Oticon EduMic is a wireless remote microphone system offering world class sound quality, ease of use, and multiple connectivity options. You can now provide students and children with hearing loss direct access to their teacher’s voice via a wireless remote microphone that can help manage noise, reverberation, and distance. Best of all, teachers tell us its flexible, discreet design is simple and intuitive to use.
EduMic offers excellent compatibility in today’s classroom. With EduMic, children can have direct streaming to their Oticon hearing aids* from a computer, smart board or tablet by using the 3.5 mm audio jack connection, in addition to using the EduMic as a remote microphone directly. EduMic also comes equipped with a telecoil, giving children access to teleloop systems often found in theaters, auditoriums and lecture rooms.
*EduMic is compatible with all 2.4 GHz hearing aids based on the Velox™, Velox S™ and Polaris™ platforms.
Oticon ConnectClip
ConnectClip is a multipurpose accessory that can transform children’s hearing aids into high-quality headphones and stream sounds to both ears. Even with the best hearing aids, it can sometimes be difficult to clearly hear what someone is saying, like at home, on the playground or in the car.
ConnectClip can help in these difficult listening situations by streaming another person’s speech—up to 65 feet away—directly to Oticon hearing aids*. ConnectClip also connects children to their other Bluetooth®-enabled devices so students can listen to music in high-quality stereo, take hands-free phone calls from their smartphone, or play games with friends online.
*ConnectClip is compatible with all 2.4 GHz hearing aids based on the Velox™, Velox S™ and Polaris™ platforms.
